The new design provides 50% more strength and longer service life than traditional openend wrenches, with no increase in the tool’s outside dimensions. When compared with other
high-quality wrenches, the improvement in strength is as high as 80%.

The advanced opening profile places more metal in high-stress areas to stiffen the jaws,
increase tool strength and reduce permanent jaw spread for better reliability. In addition, the
carefully placed, precision-broached serrations keep the wrench seated on the fastener to
increase torque and reduce slippage.

WRIGHTGrip is a design evolution for open-end wrenches similar to what the Wright Drive™
was for sockets and box wrenches. The design utilizes advanced CAD/CAM technologies to
improve the wrench-to-fastener contact areas. As with the Wright Drive, this increased contact improves torque load capabilities wherever WRIGHTGrip wrenches are used.
